And who has been there lately, who can tell me what else is up there?

Haven't been in about 2 months, but I'm pretty sure it's BYOB. It's in a seedy neighborhood and is tiny. That said, it's already one of my absolute favorites in town. Other restaurants should look to duplicate what Kin is doing in the kitchen.

Not really that seedy a neighborhood . . . just sort of barren/commercial. Safe enough.
Still BYOB as far as I know. Small place but the food is great and so is the service.

Hard to grow anything without planting some Seeds, OB.
Guess you missed your mandated resilience lecture.

No.

Was still BYOB as of 2-3 weeks ago.
Communal seating but it wasn't as tight as some I've been to.
Service was relaxed and fun but attentive.
Tried damn near the whole menu and everything was executed well and prepared very nice.
I look forward to a return visit in the cooler months and the BYOB factor was a nice plus on the end bill.

Went Saturday for lunch, didn't BYOB because I had been drinking since 6:00am. I didn't order anything from the menu, just told them to bring me stuff. Best meal I have had in a VERY long time. The hood isn't that bad, even at night.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not worried about the hood - I got that. Appreciate the other information from everyone, though.

It was the first time I had been. My new GF isn't very adventurous when it comes to food, so I jumped at the chance. Sat at the counter and had great service and even better food.

I gave up on the resiliency series.

Table of 4 and we all said it was probably the best meal we've had in the New Orleans this year start to finish.
