How much crawfish can you eat?

I am talking just the bugs and maybe beer or Coke, not the corn and potato.
Only 10% of crawfish is meat, so 5lbs is about 1/2lb of meat.
5-8 pounds is about my limit before feeling stuffed.

I'm good for about 5 pounds, at most. I had 3 pounds for lunch yesterday and it was just right.

That's exactly what made me think about this topic, I bought 3 pounds on the way to work this evening.
I'm quite full.

I ate way too many last Saturday afternoon after fishing and drinking all morning. I think I eclipsed ten pounds at that sitting and my body didn't agree with it. My fingers and ankles swole up like a pregnant woman in her third trimester. Those were the best damn crawfish I've eaten in as long as I can remember though.

10lbs at a normal boil.
Dont think I could eat more. Any less and I probably didnt like them.
If the plan is to sprinkle the seasoning on after boiling, I'm kicking that pot over and leaving.

I've eaten twenty pounds in a sitting in the past. It's really not that much.

One of my daughters eats 15lbs from Tony's whenever we stop to get them and has since she was 10 or so. In season about once a week. She loves them but is also an athlete so it doesn't hang around.

Local bar had them about 25 years ago, $10 all you can eat. They had four sacks live. I sat down with a buddy and we ate two sack between us.

If I am cooking them and paying for it, I can put an embarassing amount down; probably 15ish lbs if I stay away from the fixins. If I am at someone elses place, i will do 5-8lb and eat corn, sausage, and mushrooms.

if its just me and nothing in my way, i could polish off 10-12 lbs easy
