If you can swing a trip up to Conroe, B52 is excellent. It's like a park plus a brewery. Brash is no frills, with good beer. Both will likely have a good food truck onsite. Saint Arnold's is your more classic brewery with a tour and all that stuff. Pretty decent place to hang out.

I haven't been to as many breweries in town as I should.

IPAs @ Brash & WFM Brewing. Eureka Heights isn't far from Karbev and they have a solid set up. Hughie's is also in that area, always has an awesome tap list.

I visited Houston in the last year and was happy with D&Q Beer Station. I dont know how the Post Oak and Kirby Whole Foods beer selection compares, but the Kirby location is about 2 miles from D&Q, if you want to hit up both.

Karbach is very average. Cool brewery though. I'd go to Saint Arnold or Lone Pint in Magnolia.

D&Q is a great store. If you are really looking to shop, you can do both D&Q and smith street specs since they are pretty close. Then while you are at it, go to the Pit Room on Richmond. Best BBQ I have had in the loop and it is right up there with Killen's

The whole foods on POST OAK has its own brewery. Their hoppy beers are great, among the best in the city. They also will have a 10 or so other beers on tap.

Also, Whole Foods does $2 drafts on Thursdays at all of their locations just FYI.

Spec's on Smith St. - Love walking from a Midtown happy hour and perusing this place with a nice buzz.

If you want to hit golf balls and mix and match a bucket Acorn Golf Range off Acorn St. Near 610 & 290 had a ton of craft from Hou/ATX/Dal that was awesome. Large bucket of balls and a bucket of six beers was $34!

Flying Saucer downtown had a ton of beers on tap but haven't been in a while.

Went to Goody's liquor store on Woodway yesterday. Pleasantly surprised at the selection of whisky/bourbon/scotch. Didn't have my favorite Yamizaki but did have Balcones Single Malt!

Good luck on the hunt.

Spent about 2-hunned @ Parish taproom on the way over here from Mandeville, might have blown the beer budget a little early. Actually not tho.

Sipping the Karbach Hopadilla at Top Golf - solid easy drinker. Seen like 5/6 Specs but haven't stopped in yet.
