What would you like to cook? If you can read a recipe, there's plenty you can cook.

We're just doing leftovers tomorrow. I gave my wife flowers and chocolate today. Mainly because I love her more than all of you love your SOs.

We never go out on Valentine's day. I always cook. Tonight I am doing pan fried speckled trout with a garlic cream sauce, seafood risotto, and asparagus cooked in olive oil and garlic and then topped with parmesan cheese. Made a coconut cream pie last night for dessert.

Don't know if it was mentioned but a Gorgonzola or bleu cheese butter on a prime steak (cast iron skillet method) is hard to beat. A bone in pork chop is also great if you make a sauce, glaze or salsa to top it with

This may require it's own thread.

Most romantic post meal Valentine's Day spot?

How about Snake and Jake's?
It's their 20th anniversary tonight. Who's grabbing a piece of cake with their SO afer dinner?

Your own home with whatever special accoutrements which would make the post meal memorable and enjoyable for all.

He wonders why he can't get dates as he and a certain person that has asked for so many first dates sites really operate under the delusion of being a "ladies man".

I have a buddy just like that, but that's not me.

I was just making a funny observation that the biggest dive in NOLA has it's anniversary on Valentines Day.
Nice insight on a stranger though.

lady is working late. going to pick her up around 930 and we're gonna grab a drink and a small bite somewhere. probably at a restaurant bar in the FQ or uptown. thinking Peche, Coquette, Emerils.. along those lines.

what y'all doing? when's Gautreau's?

damn. NBA BS?

Having Uncle and a few others over for cocktails and champagne around 7:30. He's heading to Coquette tonight, we're headed to Lilette.

Gautreau's isn't decided yet. Need to figure that out.

That late, you should call Root. They cater to the late diner better then anyone. IMO. Plus you can do small plates.

Thought about that. May end up there depending on availability elsewhere.
