Something weird about that place, and that name doesn't do them any favors. Wings are good, chicken salad sandwich was just ok. I've only been there maybe 5 times, and that's the only 2 foods that I've ordered.

it’s a small chain out of Dallas I think
I bid on the renovation for the owner before he opened he’s a good dude.
evidently bull = beef and chicks = chicken
the food is fresher than most/all fast food as far as I can tell.
definitely better than processed crap. The burgers are decent as well as the hot dogs. Decent is a big step up from typical drive thru

it’s still not good for you but you can do a hell of a lot worse
Was coming here to say this. They are my favorite place to get wings and their burgers are very good. They bake their own bread in house and it shows in the final product.

Does coffee call still do the lunch special with the shrimp Po boy and gumbo?
If so. That’s a hidden gem of gems.

Romans (bluebonnet) not only has great Greek dishes but they might have the BEST PIZZA in Baton Rouge too

Guess I gotta check out Roman’s...love Greek food.

Romans blows the others in town out of the water. An actual char on the meats. It’s amazing.
Zorbas is a fave of mine but apples to oranges.

I've passed this place multiple times recently and wondered how it is still open. I guess I'll have to try it.
From the outside, it looks like the typical half-assed amateur shop that pops up in old fast food locations.

Everything is cooked to order, that's why the burgers are so good and you should never get in the drive-thru.

Best hamburger steak:
George’s Southside - Doug’s Special
Hamburger Steak, ham, bacon, onions, cheese topped with Aujus. I suggest going with the small order.

It's decent in my opinion, nothing special at all. Rocket shrimp & Pot Roast are ok, etouffee is not good at all. Burgers & Poboys are ok as well. I don't get the love for this place.

Gino's and Louisiana Lagniappe are mediocre at best restaurants and highly overrated by the folks in Baton Rouge.

House Ribs at Omi. They are cut into little riblets and have several sauce styles to choose from. I prefer the sweet and salty house sauce. I get downvoted for saying this but I've been going to Omi for 9 years and sometimes their quality isnt up to snuff. Lately they have been more consistent and when these ribs are on point, they are phenomenal.
Omi is our rotation. Best secret in BR
