Something different. Suggestions?

And I'll check back in an hour.

+1 on Noodle and Pie, as well as Tartine
There's also the reopened Frankie & Johnny's on Arabella, Slice on Mag @ St. Joe by Whole Foods.

Or just drive a lil' bit down Magazine and go to Pizza Domenica. That's what I'd do.

Or go to St. James Cheese Co on Prytania, then follow that up with candy or pastry from Manhattan Jack's.

Did you just list every place in a square mile?

Nah, that list would be about 15x longer. I've eaten lunch M-Th in that hood for 15+ years, I can recite the daily specials at the Frostop on Calhoun.
I'm the Uni/Audubon lunch savant.

The country club house in Audubon park. Good burger and excellent onion rings

Good call on La Macarena. Tartine and Milk Bar are fine. Not so hot on Noodles and Pie.

ETA: Could try Willie Mae's on St. Charles.

Did Noodle and Pie since it was about two blocks. House ramen with the soft boiled egg and it was good. As hot as today was I really was thinking the green curry but the ramen was a solid choice. Was going to get the Brussels sprouts but I just can't eat that much for lunch and I was dining alone.

Thanks. I'll be around there a good bit the next few months so I'll get the others.
