If someone scoffs at a bottle of Kettle One, Goose, Chopin, ect. then they are full of shite. It's a glorified mixer.

It's not like it's bourbon.

If he is a vodka drinker, he probably has a brand. If not, I'd go Titos.

And it taste like a drop of vermouth, heavy splash of olive juice, and a goat cheese stuffed olive as it should.

Vodka is or should be tasteless, just buy them whatever you like, if you can taste the vodka in a martini it must be some nasty shite.

Belvedere or Tito's
For cheap stuff that Costco Kirklands stuff isn't bad. Triple filtered I believe.

Get them Deep Eddy's if you have it at your local store. It's filtered 10 times and made in Austin. I like it better than Tito's and it's usually a couple of dollars cheaper as well.

Deep Eddy not as much Taste as Titos but smoother.IMHO. 10x Distilled.

Some mix vodka and gin 50/50 , old Martini Recipe from a famous night club in NY C.

Maybe $50 or under.

Pretty much anything. Don't spend more than what Tito's costs. About the only difference in vodkas is what they're distilled from. For the most part they will taste the same if distilled from the same ingredient. So most grain based vodkas will be undetectable. If you blind taste test a potato and grain and rye side by side you will taste a slight difference. I can't say one if truly better than the other but I preferred the rye when I did a blind taste test.

Do you ruin your martini with a lack of vermouth and crappy olive juice too?
