Just saw that Gnarly Barley is having a release party for their new ipa on the 17th. Has anybody heard anything about it?

According to Gnarly Barley co-owner, Cari Caramonta, Brightside is “a massively hopped American single IPA around 6.7% ABV, using Galaxy, Citra, Cascade and Amarillo at about 5 pounds per barrel, with none going in earlier than 20 minutes left in the boil. We’re talking straight hop juice!”

Looks like soon to be LA goat by the 2nd best brewery in the state, behind Great Raft.

They just missed the hop juice fad by a couple months

I hope they dry hop it with green onions, maybe it'll be able to rival Commotion then.

All about those Mexican IPAs served with a lime wedge.

Gotta love options!
We live in a good time for craft brews.

Did a 9 year old design that label?

I wonder if they're using lactose sugar for heft, wheat flour for haze and dry hopping at the end of fermentation. Wouldn't be surprised to hear they used some kind of puree. Obviously not filtering the beer either.
