I bet it is good, but not as good as the Korova PB porter!

Had the Brightside, juicy and very good. Not great. Bitter at the end but still very good. Can't wait to see this bottled/canned more often

So, i managed to grab a bottle and poured it last night, here's my review (which i'm certain everyone is clamoring for)
Grading on a 10 pt scale
Aroma: 8/10 - Nice aroma. Lots of fruity hops coming through. Noticeable when pouring out the bottle.
Appearance: 8.5/10 - Very pretty color. Bright orange/hazy. Just what i like in this style of IPA
Mouthfeel: 7/10 - Mouthfeel was soft, but for the style, could have been softer. The beer tended to dry out a good bit on the back end. While good for an IPA, i consider a negative for this style of IPA (NE IPA).
Flavor: 7/10 - Again, for the style, this one was off. Normally for this style i'm expecting pillowy mouthfeel with juicy hops throughout and minimal hop bite. This one had an unusual hop bitterness you don't normally see in the style. Also, the dryness on the back end took away from the overall flavor. In short, too much bitterness, too dry for the style, IMO.
Overall: 30/40 - I think this was a good first try for Gnarly Barley for this style, and if they fine tune it a little, they could have something really special here. I think they nailed the color, and aroma, though more aroma is never a bad thing. I think they need to examine the bittering hops and dryness. Maybe less attenuative yeast or work on their water chem a little more.
Summation: Good but not great. Good 1st attempt and i'm anxious to see how batch 2 comes out.
ETA: To recalculate based on a BJCP judging scoring system
Aroma: 10/12
Appearance: 3/3
Flavor: 14/20
Mouthfeel: 3.5/5
Overall: 30.5/40
ETA 2: Keep in mind, taste is subjective. These are my thoughts.

Too dry for the style. If we are comparing it to a NE style IPA, then they really shouldn't dry out as much, IMO.

This is a pretty dead on description of what I found out of the bomber as well. It's good, but not great.
Can it and would drink on the reg if they could get it out often.

I got some of the dryness you speak of from the bottle but not on tap. Agreed. I want this thing canned and regularly available! Would be cool to see it as a double as well.

Another batch coming in November. They've got a canning line on order as well as additional fermentors in order to triple capacity. Not sure when everything will be delivered and up and running though.

Anywhere to find this on Baton Rouge? Bottle or tap.

I could be wrong but I thought I heard it was on tap at Corporate Brew

Canned would be nice, but i doubt they are going to invest money right now into a cannery while they also have a bottling line.

Meh, i like IPA's. I don't care for double IPA's. My alcohol preference threshold for beer tops out at 8.5%. Especially with IPA's. That's why i dont buy anymore of stone's enjoy by. I don't want to drink a 9/10% DIPA. IT's too hot. I bought a 6 back of Bell's Oracle DIPA clocking in at 10.5%. I bought it 2 weeks ago, i have 5 left and don't plan on drinking the rest anytime soon.
Parish has spoiled me. Once/week i grab a 6'er of Envie and i'm set.
ETA: Nevermind i guess they are canning. Good for them!

That escalated quickly.
Its almost as if they realized that they could sell a lot more beer is they just made a great IPA. Hmmmm...
