Do you even watch bro?

Many experts say to allow the coffee to "bloom" for 30 seconds to a minute and then stir it to mix the grounds that have "bloomed" to the top back into the liquid. Then add lid.

Nice. Will definitely try this out.

I usually do this with it about 1/5 of the way full. I stir it with a chopstick (which seems to work best for some reason) and then add the rest of the water to let it do its full steeping for 3-4 minutes.

Maybe, but they are one of the best companies to work for in the country.

Also, any time you see someone wearing a Michael Kors watch, let them know that they are wearing a fossil watch.

Sorry .. my grandfather had slightly better taste than you. Guess that's what happens when you're from anywhere but Kenner.

It's a great investment. If you're not a huge coffee drinker and/or can share with people then just get a small one. I have the small one at home I use every once in a while, and I just use a regular tea pot with a meat thermometer to know when the water is the right temp.

Would love to do a side by side. My favorite coffee shop in Nola, Mojo, does pour overs and they're delicious .. just takes a long time and I usually don't feel like waiting for them to go through the whole process. Thank god their drip coffee is on point as well.

Yeah, I was looking at an 8 cup which reviews said makes about 2 actual large cups of coffee. That would be perfect for me bc the wife doesn't drink it.

Boiling water and waiting five minutes doesn't require pics to explain the process except for people too damned stupid as to require a Mr. Coffee pot.

No doubt, 2 full cups of coffee is a solid amount.

Eh. I think it's a little more nuanced than Mr Coffee. Especially if you're going to take the few extra minutes and really try for an exceptional cup of coffee, not just run of the mill drip. Coffee is like a really good sauce, IMO. There's a certain level you can achieve that takes it beyond just something you eat or drink to get through the day.

I really need to look into getting a coffee rig like the one Gale had in Breaking Bad.
