I think that's the name. Just saw the sign today between Zippy's and Parrains. Looks like a perfect little spot for a quality hot dog joint, which I think could be awesome.

Anybody know anything about it? It was the first I've even heard of it.

They have a website but haven't done much to it and it has no real menu yet.

They need to hire someone to make a better site. That site alone would make me run from the sight of their building.

I saw it for the first time Friday. I was at Zippys and they were working on thier patio. After leaving the bars near the over pass it will be a viable option besides schilitz's greasey pizza.

it looks on their sign like they have a hot dog with mac and cheese on it.

You know, Martini has always talked about wanting to open a hot dog place in BR, i wonder if he is the secret investor?

Thanks for the link. The guy obviusly cares a lot about quality. I don't recall if the method of cooking was mentioned.

I am jealous. I wish New Orleans had a good hot dog shop. And NO, don't say lucky dog. You need to have at least 11 beers to offset the bacterial contaminant.

At 2am after said 11 beers, they are fantastic. Especially with a good dollop of the 32 day old chili.

Which I am sure you had not had 11 beers at said party.......or hopefully you hadn't.

I just want a dang hot dog place I can go and get a dog with lots of grilled onions and peppers.

Kids b-day parties Uptown are a blast. Probably had atleast 8 or 10 beers. No parents would show if there wasn't beer.

ETA: I love this city!!

Dear Hot Dog Guy,

If you wish to appeal to hot dog aficionados, don't put a picture of a hot dog WITH KETCHUP on the sign.

Yea the decor of that little building is puzzling. The patio look like it will be pretty nice though.
