I'll let you choose the second... Deschutted obsidian or Real Sisyphus barley wine

I'd go Sisyphus then Obsidian

which reminds me, it's about time to pick up the 2012 for my collection

Sisyphus it is...

And this is a big step away from the duchesse. Good beer. Nice.

Haven't tried the 2012 Sisyphus yet... have a few in the fridge though along with a 2011.

I have a 2010 and a 2011, and was going to bust them out with a 2012, but will probably leave them and just add a 2012 to it

I found a little bistro in amarillo, of all places, with an unbelievable beer list. They have dfh 120 but the tap is broken.

gonna need a name, we always stop in amarillo when we drive to Colorado

I think M&R has the best bottle selection, if you look for anything to bring home

Go Link! I am working today and not happy about it. Only a 4 day work week though as I am headed to Montgomery Friday morning.

Yeah, I got a travel/off day and I'm taking full advantage. Just bought a four pack of 90 minute IPA and a bomber of Lips of Faith Tart Lychee and Cocoa Mole

since I don't think it warrants a new thread, I'll post it here:

So Saturday morning we had a garage sale, and some friends brought over some stuff to sell too. Wouldn't you know it, they had a nice, clean, well running chest freezer, perfect for fermentation control. Towards the end of the morning, when we started talking about wrapping things up and loading their stuff back up, I told them that I'd like the freezer if nobody else came to buy it. $25, they said. Hell yes, I said. Next freaking guy that walked up offered them $50 for it.

so close, yet so far away

The wife wanted to try my basil wheat homebrew. She approved, so I had to open one of my own.

Kim, hijack necessary. I own a Ford. Doors may not be worthy of the past. Here's a toast of Scotch and h2o to your FBD.

TBD: Lips of Faith Tart Lychee. A good American WIld ale. If it was just a little more on the sour side this would be a home run. If you want a slow walk into sours, this could be a good one to try.
