Went to Blackwell's this afternoon to meet Gary in person and get a couple of boxes. UPS, FedEx and others want around $75-80/box to ship my stash back to Baton Rouge, so looks like United will have a couple of extra passengers on the way home at $25/box. Right now I have more purchases than spaces in the boxes, so I had a mini fridge delivered up when I checked in and I've started culling the herd. Always good when one is choosing between RR, Lagunitas, FW, Alesmith, The Bruery and North Coast for the weakest in the herd. Our opening reception back in SF had Lagunitas IPA as one of the options, so while the uninformed drank BMC and Corona's, my buddy and I spent 2 hours pounding the good stuff. Followed by dinner at Sam's Seafood. As my buddy would say, life is good.

LoneStar-tell me more about summer Yuletide? Saw it at Blackwell's but didn't grab any. Might be persuaded for adding it to the collection.

What did you think of the Boxers Revenge? Its an interesting beer.

Interesting is definitely a good word. There's a lot going on, but I enjoyed it. I'm still in training wheels when it comes to sours, etc. but it's definitely something I'd like to drink again.

I think you guys will be happy. We could get together and drink a few this weekend and look for KJ on TV in Omaha.

Just kidding Kim, no rebellion amongst your followers. We will celebrate our NC with you when you return.

What's your tuesday or wednesday afternoon looking like?

Either is fine.

What was it a major Ferrari crowd or something chanting durning the interviews?

sometimes the interviews can be one of the more entertaining aspects of the race.

I guess Ferrari has a huge following, saw Alonso playing to the crowd before the race. Interviews are way better, the drivers don't hold their tounge.

That sounds awesome ICansee. Assuming you're there for work right?

Summer Yulesmith is a big DIPA. Very tasty. Should be very fresh right now, just make sure it is this years batch.

I'm going to bump this thread instead of starting a new one. I'm in Ukiah, CA (60 miles north of Russian River Brewing) and I'm looking to pick up some beers in town this afternoon, but I have no clue about any of these beers. Does anyone have any favorite beers or breweries to look for that will probably be offered in this area? Thanks
