I thoughg I was the one that talked shite about N.O. restaurants. At least I haven't called anywhere terrible, especially somewhere getting critcal praise and 4 of 5 stars on yelp.

Oh, yeah, because yelp is the the ideal barometer for restaurants. How many times has this board shite on sites like yelp for being inaccurate and full of artificially high ratings?

Homebrew is same color, but hazier. Has a better nose, no doubt due to freshness. Pliny was bottled 6 weeks ago, clone kegged Friday. Homebrew is more bitter, harsh. A little time should help that.
In the end, I am pretty pleased with the homebrew.
Eta: it's really cool when folks like Vinnie Cilurzo are so helpful and willing to create and share clone recipies.

The bone marrow was entirely devoid of actual MARROW, which is a huge problem. It tasted like a salt lick. That's just a fact. But feel free to continue to disbelieve us.
