Those ladies know their business!! Had the roast beef and Swiss poboy and it was awesome. Prolly gonna try the erster poboy next. It's places like these that make NOLA great.

Used to go there a lot.

Mahoney's (perhaps only) strength used to be their root beer glazed ham and cheese. Went there for that recently and it wasn't nearly as good. IDK, maybe those Hope Solo pictures scarred me for life.
Domilese's best is shrimp w/ gravy, imo

There are some other casual places close. Pizza Domenica is the best of the bunch.
Then you have a lot of good places on Freret Street as well.

Guy's is much much better in all aspects except atmosphere. Domilese's must have the worst roast beef poboy in town, and they squirt ketchup on the shrimp!
