I'm looking for your favorite spots in the French quarter to pass a few hours while avoiding Bourbon street

It may be cliche' and I have no idea about what is down there, but if I was in NOLA and it was a nice day, I'd be sitting on the patio at Pat O's.

Until it cools down... anywhere inside. Careosail bar is a good spot to keep moving while you're drinking.

I'll be in NOLA at the end of October and this exactly were I plan on being. It's my day drinking spot in the quarter on a beautiful day

Weird, the lady who's always there when I go couldn't be nicer. Might not be the same one. I like to stop in there from time to time.
