Russian River is hard to find in California. Can't imagine there would be shops with it on the shelf in Colorado.

I think Russian River is available in Colorado. I'd grab some of their stuff.

last 2 times I've been in Denver I have been able to get some RR sours. Just need to start talking to the beer guys and once they realize you know what you are talking about, they will bring them out of the back.

It is gabf week, nothing is hiding in the back. There is only a handful of stores that get RR stuff anyhow. A lot of places are doing their cellar releases right now so there are some gems on the shelf. Add that to every brewery being in town and its nuts right now.

When is the OPs son leaving and from what part of town? How much are you looking to spend and what styles do you like?

Odells and telluride would be good to grab. Tell him to pick up a 12 pack assortment.
