We'll, I'm assuming healing took place. You'd think if that was the reason for closing in spite of the long lines each morning, that he would reopen that place rather than starting a new wholly unrelated food venture....

I'm already in line. His buns are among the best I've had.

He sold bao bread options at his place somewhat often.

You would know if you went.

One day a week is a significantly smaller time investment.

I'm gonna have to go check it out before he runs this business into the ground as well.

His other venture concentrated on smoked meats. That's what I meant by the comment.

I hope has lines at this place too. Maybe he'll smoke some meats on the side.

He was promoting the new business with what looks to be smoked pork belly and homemade pickles bao.

Good. Hopefully he won't have to shut down if another family member becomes ill.

So he delays the opening on the very same day he announces the opening?

Makes sense.

What a trainwreck.

The build up will create an even bigger demand. The guy knows what he's doing.

I can't wait to get back in line.

Chef Rob adds ANOTHER pop-up down the street at Milkfish.

So is he announcing another before the one at Bevi even opens? This is like watching a car accident in slow motion.

Interesting. I know when Milkfish started out they allowed people to host pop ups on Wednesday nights and Milkfish only charged them for utilities. I wonder if that is still the case.
