Yeah it really doesn't look THAT good but I applaud the effort. That being said, I'd eat a slice or 2.

The oil was too hot for the chicken. It's close to burnt.

Or you use a ricer and achieve the same texture. It needs a layer of fresh corn as well, seems like it could be overly dry without the addition of the corn and a good bit more gravy

At my first counseling session upon seeing that photograph, I'm pointing out that the gravy looks congealed and the whole thing is no longer hot or even warm which makes it even nastier.
