The demand being so high and the brewery is located in Broussard.

It should sell out pretty quick.

I've been gone so long that there was no brewery in Lafayette much less Broussard so please forgive my ignorance when I ask the following. Who is the brewer and what type of beer is Canebreak?

Parish Brewering Co.

The new brewery in Broussard is next door to my neighborhood. They have great beer. I have a case in my fridge. They are def getting caught up with demand, Albertsons now puts out displays for local stuff and now they are finally on it. Their free tours on Friday afternoons have slowly become quite the attraction. The more popular they have become the more people now show up. It use to be a few cars I'd see when going home, but shite now they have cars parked all along the road. People standing around outside drinking. It looks fun, and I need to stop being lazy and go. Also, if you save the six pack holders and bring back a certain amount in to the tours, they give you shirts or a glass depending on how much you bring back.

Kracka i went during Christmas and it was nothing special but you should make the walk over anyway. It's "free" good beer and the time i was there, they had an Envie and the Grand Reserve on tap.

You were lucky, they only brew that once a year I believe.
