Has anyone had any positive experiences from there? I am heading there to meet some friends was curious if anyone has actually enjoyed it. I haven't read anything on here not negative about it. Thanks for the feedback.I

I've been once and thought it was pretty damn good. Hope you enjoy it. Good beer on tap too

Better than most other burgers you can get in BR... It's far from being the best, juiciest, tastiest burger you could find, but it isn't bad by any means.

I'd rate it a B or B+ personally. The beer choices are excellent.

I've been to the Lafayette location 5 times. There's gotta be at least 4 places I'd rather eat a burger from in Lafayette. It's certainly not terrible and won't bitch if I meet people for lunch there, but it's far from one of my lunch spots.

I say no..

Very bad and soggy buns (even with few toppings)

I tore it in half and am holding it upside down

over salted fries.. Five Guys was better.
(this place had ok meat and could be great, but that wet bun killed it for me.
And the fries were just trash)

I think that means it's good hoss! We ate there all the time in Lafayette when we lived nearby but there are other burger places that are better since we've moved. However, I've never had a bad experience.

It's mediocre, at best.

I would just as soon go to Wendy's as go back there.

Best thing about burgersmith is the beer selection.

What exactly are you ordering at Fat Cow that costs double than Burgersmith?

I personally was unimpressed by the over cooked dry meat I was served at Burgersmith. The fries are definitely better than Fat Cow's though. Smith seasoning is good.

I like Burgersmith a lot better than Fat Cow. I went to Fat Cow 4 times and each time the burger was cooked to a crisp and I ended up paying $15 for a burger, fries and a drink. I've been to Burgersmith 10 different times and only one time was it not up to par with the way the burger was cooked.

Burgersmith also has a great beer selection, which Fat Cow is severely lacking.

Where in the op did he mention fat cow. I understan yall are trying to compare but the op may have never even been to fat cow.

Personally i like them both. They are very different burgers. Some people have had bad experiences at both. Ive had great experiences at both, and i paid arguably the same price for the grass fed burger at burgersmith as i did the for the caprese (actually think its called sicilian) burger at fat cow last time i went.

. Please name them. I can think of two (romero's solely bc of price/lb and fat pats). There are two other places that are arguably better...arguably (unless you get napoleon's cook)

I just moved back to laffy and would like to try a couple of great burger places.

I like Fat Pat's, Max's Pool Hall and Legends better for sure. Don't know if I can think of a 4th. The Pub on Jefferson I remember being good.

Burgersmith certainly isn't bad, though.

Someone got shot at Fast Eddies a few weeks back. I don't think Max's.

Legends's burgers are definitely worth you giving a try. I don't know about the rest of the food. I think they do a tuna sandwich I've heard about being good...but not sure.

Yep. The burgers weren't bad, but nothing special. I did like the fries, but mine didn't look like the above picture.

Coffee Bean on Coursey may just be best in town.
