Thinking about doing brunch at the house for the game Saturday. Anybody have any creative ideas to mix it up? I plan on doing traditional breakfast items like bacon, sausage, eggs, grits, etc. but was wondering if you guys have any recipes for something different as a brunch offering.

Not really different, but you can't go wrong with homemade fried chicken and waffles.

Add tortillas, salsa, pico, etc and allow people to DIY some breakfast burritos
Do some fried backstrap w/ sausage gravy too

Grits and Grillades
If you have a smoker then you can look into making a "breakfast fatty". Bacon, sausage, eggs, etc.. rolled up and smoked

Breakfast burritos and tacos are tGOAT.
Scramble up some eggs, fry up some meats, make a fresh salsa or two, and put out the tortillas and all the toppings. That's all you gotta do.

For a quick and easy appetizer version, I will order a tray of Chil-Fil-A nuggets and put them on these with a toothpick. Serve with crushed red pepper infused syrup.

Monkey bread. Use canned cinnamon rolls instead of regular biscuits. Glaze with the cinnamon roll icing.

Make a Spanish Tortilla. Basically just potatoes, eggs, and onions. Delicious.

If you have a sous vide circulator, look up “can’t frick it up eggs Benedict” the n YouTube. That is my old standby for brunch. You can make 50 eggs Benedict servings using this technique and it is easy and delicious every time.
If you don’t have that, make sure you have some boudin, eggs, fruit, and pancakes.

Crouton Casserole
I mix all the ingredients the night before and just throw the casserole in the oven in the morning. The longer it sits the more the croutons will soak up the egg/milk mixture and won't be dry in the middle. Garlic and Herb croutons work the best. Also, you can sub bacon for the sausage, or add sautéed onions. Use this recipe as a base and make it yours.
