I am headed in from Mempis this weekend for the game and would like to bring back some boudin and Tin Roof.
I have had Kartchner's in Krotz Springs and may swing in over there.
Is Bergeron's in Port Allen pretty good? Is there another place I should go besides these?
Also, is Tin Roof available pretty much everywhere in BR? I can't find it at all up here.
Thanks!

Tin Roof is available just about anywhere in BR.

Bergerons is pretty good, as is Ronnie's on Florida. Others will also suggest Jerry Lees as well.

Kartchner's is way better than Bergeron's, and it's not even close. There is also a Billy's right across the street from Kartchner's. It's excellent.

If you're in BR, no need to travel way out across the basin. Ronnie's in BR is very good and you can bank on their smoked boudin. It's money..

Huge fan of Jerry Lee's not so much of Bergeron's boudin.

You can find tin roof in Madison at hops and habanas as well. It is just off the interstate

Kartchner's in Krotz Springs is better than Billy's in Krotz Springs according to my boudin survey I conducted last week. Billy's had better flavor, but was a good bit drier.

I find Bergeron's smoked boudin to be delicious and buy a batch of their smoked chicken wings and jerky while you're there. I also like Kartchner's. Their boudin balls are good snackin' material.

Thanks for the help everyone! I may have to get Ronnie's and Bergeron's on Sat, then Kartchner's on Sunday. Kartchner's also has amazing hog's head cheese!
I am guessing any Albertson's will have Tin Roof?

the great thing about Kartchner's is that they have prepackaged, frozen or unfrozen links, smoked or regular, ready to take with you on travel.
