I've gotten crawfish at a couple of restaurants that had loose jalapeno slices mixed in with the crawfish. The flavor was really good and I just wanted to know if any of y'all have put jals in your boil. If so, how much and when?

That was honestly one of the best responses to any question I've ever seen on this website!

I have friends and family that dump a whole industrial size jar... I'm talking Sam's Club size... in the pot when thy kill the heat, for the 20 minute soak. Surprisingly, it doesn't really make them too spicy.

I like to throw them in every now and then. Gives a different taste to it, I like it.

Great thing about gumbo and crawfish boils are you can throw any damn thing you want in them

I'll try anything once.
