Wife had brisket and she really liked hers too.

Beer selection was descent.

I thought it was pretty good. Mosaic Promise is a real treat. It's better than The Joint.

I memtioned previously in this thread that my wings were a tad under cooked last week because they were busy after jazz fest.

I retract my last statement. Last night the wings were cooked perfect. Best wings ive ever eaten there. the brisket is now on a different level with the new smoker. It was more moist and better bark than the brisket at chickie wah wahs location. Ribs were perfect. Tried the potato salad which is a new dish and It was one of the better potato salands ive eaten. Cant wait till they bring back the brisket philly cheesesteak. Best cheesesteak in New Orleans! Only thing missing is tea. Did not see any last night.

What's parking on a day that's not a busy Saturday? We had to park across Carrollton and over a few blocks. I'm sure it being Jazzfest had something to do with that as well.

Parking is fine. I parked right in front yesterday at 11.

Nice. Place was pretty packed when we made it over, I think the weather probably caused people to linger over the meal a little longer than they might have otherwise. I'll definitely be back soon.

Will they reserve my private table like most places do? If I'm leaving the hood I've got to be motivated.

You should choke yourself. I can't believe you were in the vicinity of the GOAT and skipped it.

I don't even wanna know where you went in its stead.

Hulk please.

It took me awhile before going to Chickie wah wah. I went from a Blue Oak regular to a handful of visits when they left the 13th Ward.

Brah i tried and tried.. they refused because of "jazzfest traffic'. The worst part: where we went was about 2 miles away, and the food wasn't very good.

I am disappoint.

I dig it the new location, even Metry baws can make it over there pretty easily. I think I'll make it part of a big loop. Hit up 504, then wings, then home.

Dodge bullets, drink beer, down BBQ

I was outnumbered... Fox and Hound.

Years ago, when that place was open in BR, that was our hangout spot. They wanted to go for nostalgia's sake.
