So my buddy has a pretty nice setup for brewing beer. Here's a picture for those interested:

Anyways, on to the point of this thread. We're wanting to brew a blonde ale to bring to our department's crawfish boil. I really like tin roof's blonde when I'm eating crawfish so I'd like to get a close match to that. Tin roof's website lists the ingredients but not the proportions. They say it calls for: 2 row, pilsen, and caramel malts and glacier hops. Could anyone help me out with a recipe for a 6 gallon batch blonde ale?

It has heating coils inside the tanks. They're set up to the electronic control system so you can set the batch to a specific temperature with the help of thermocouples

If any of yall got any other recommendations for a beer recipe that goes well with crawfish, I'd be glad to hear it as well.

I would just pick up some cold miller light for a Crawford boil. Why waste a boil on a blonde ale?

It will be fine, that recipe is fairly close to the Tin Roof's Blonde.

Tin Roof Blonde is 85% 2row, 10% pilsen, 5% crystal 10. Original gravity between 1.048 - 1.050 and 17 IBU Glacier at 60.

Damn, y'all are knocking that dude's rig? I'll admit it's overpowered for 6 gallon batches, but maybe he only wants 6 gallon batches. I'll bet he can get to a boil in no time.

I'm just trying to figure out why the guy that brews beer with that rig does not know how to find a recipe for a blonde ale.

While I can't disagree that a blonde ale would be pretty tasty with a crawfish boil, I actually prefer something a little hoppier with something spicy.

To each their own. I like your buddy's setup.
