Some of you have really beautiful kitchens.

Um, when I update mine, I'll post photos. Until then, it will be up close pics of the food. ;-)

Count has the masonry walls. An A. Hays Town knockoff.

as far as the birds, you'll have to talk to my wife about that. the artist is actually from baton rouge--lauren barksdale is her name i believe.
I have some of her artwork in my kitchen as well. I rent so my kitchen is actually the worst part of the apartment.

By the way, what is Underground 119? I'm in Brandon and new to the area.

In the middle of a remodel. Probably not the brightest idea since I'm doing all the work myself. Started right after Thanksgiving, did I mention Christmas is at our house this year....yeah.

It's a bar downtown. I hear it is pretty cool. We'll be there around 9 or so

Most of y'all's kitchens look like pics from a magazine. Do y'all actually cook in these kitchens? They don't look used. Look beautiful but sort of like museums. I have a nice kitchen and it looks new, but used a lot.

Yep, much more on the weekends, but almost daily. You should have seen it this morning before I left for work! Definitely not magazine worthy right now.

You must have cleaned it up for the pictures. I have things on my counters. Mine is big, but "homey".

Did all of you who redid your kitchens get 2 ovens? I always wonder about that. I put 2 in many years ago. Couldn't deal with just one.

Contemplating that right now actually. The "warmer" thing under the oven is pretty useless.

Is that gumbo? Looks like ground meat in it. Nice color.

You're a very clean cook.

Something that started by accident (translation - cook had too much sauce) about 10 yrs ago. It's ground deer/jalapeno/pork sausage. I do about 2lbs of that, 2lbs of links and 2lbs of chicken (all ballpark weights).

Ah...that explains it. You must clean pretty well as you go along.

Here's a picture of half of my kitchen from last night just moments before two cats got the shite whooped out of them. It's a pretty ugly kitchen, but I rent and don't plan on being here forever, so whatever.
