Best way to freeze rice

Cooked a big dirty rice last Sunday and have some leftovers. Hate to throw away what is the best way to freeze. And I don't have a vacuum sealer

My experience with freezing rice has not been good. Because of its high moisture content it tends to break apart. I do have a vacuum sealer and have not tried to freeze cooked rice,
Maybe someone else has had a better experience.

It'll freeze fine for a short period in an air tight container. Don't go past a couple of weeks, maybe a month. Reheat in the microwave.

We usually just put in a zip lock bag

I froze leftover jambalaya a few times. I put in an air tight container, and when it was time to cook, I sprinkled a little water, not too much, just enough to wet the grains, and put the lid back on and put in the microwave. Came out perfect.

In a Ziploc bag.
When you defrost it let it come to room temperature on the counter. Stick the whole Ziploc bag in the microwave with a few holes punched with a fork in it and heat it up. I freeze Jambalaya and that's about the best method I've found.

I haven't had trouble freezing white or brown rice at all. It doesn't usually sit around for months and months, as we always have something going on that can use plain rice.
Haven't tried a lot of dirty rice or jambalaya, but I suspect it is the same - as others have said, sealed plastic container for a few weeks - maybe up to 2 months - or a plastic bag with as much air out as you can get will be your best options. When we freeze gumbo or chili, we often freeze individual servings, complete with rice - and these do last up to a couple of months - I can verify that.

Ziploc bag with as much air as possible squeezed out. Let it defrost and microwave it in the bag with the bag opened. It'll steam nicely.
I do this with jambalaya, dirty rice, and even plain white rice. I actually freeze them in quart size bags squeezed flat, and then freeze them flat. There's a shelf in my freezer full of frozen things like that standing upright like a file cabinet. My Wife's best friend (bachelorette) has a green light to "look through the leftover file" whenever she visits, and she does.
It's a pretty effective method of freezing, organizing, and reheating leftovers, whether it be rice, pasta, veggies ... I even do gumbo like that.
