Bought some really good guacamole at the HEB Grocery store while in Houston. Any suggestions what grocery store in Baton Rouge?

I've been to HEB.
It was and experience. I wish we had that here.

Kroger has decent guac but the last time it tasted weird
Guac is one of those things that's a million times better made fresh

You try Whole Foods?
I think it's honestly easier to just make your own. You can cater to your own tastes more specifically that way and you know it's fresh.

Sam's has decent guac. It comes in pack of 3. But I agree, better homemade.

you should never buy guacamole
seriously it's so cheap and easy to make.
it's sooooo good fresh!
2 (mashed) avocados
chopped onion
chopped tomatoes
shredded smoked Gouda cheese
and cheddar
squeezed lemon or lime
(tiny pinch of cayenne)
and a pack of McCormick's homemade guacamole seasoning
easy breezy

Making my own sounds nice but not much of a cook here. Think I'll head over to Whole Foods.

it's not cooking
it's mixing 5-6 things in a boil with a fork
my 7 yr old does it all the time on taco night!

What the frick? I don't think I've ever had cheese in my guac. Weird.
4 large avocados
1/3 onion, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
3-4 cloves of garlic, minced
cilantro
salt & pepper
lime juice

I can vouch for the guac at HEB Kerrville. It's legit! Little latina making it while we were there knew what she was doing. BR has nothing on it I've seen. Would have to wonder about a place like LaTienda, etc. That said, easy to make really good stuff at home.
