I love it because it's like 1950's Americana. The shakes and malts are like Cheeburgers but better and the cherry cokes are made with real cherries. The burgers are pretty good too. The cheesy films are hilarious, sort of like watching Mystery Science Theater.

I always wonder about the people who go to Disney for their honeymoon.. Doesn't seem like the place I'd wanna be banging all day.

you must be one of the people to go every year. just creepy. I dont think i need to explain.

I would go every month if I could. My sister and her son live in Tampa and they go to Disney and Busch every month and have season passes.

I can get bored of any place or any park, but you can never see all of Disney in one visit and its always changing.

You see grown couples, families, honeymooners, retirees. It's just a place designed for entertainment. They even have adult themed (by that I mean Downtown Disney) areas, and timeshare resorts.

It's more than just the Magic Kingdom. I don't think its creepy, maybe someone by themselves in Toontown, or riding "its a small world".

But Disney very much caters to adults too.

Disney is like Vegas...you can make it what you want, except that Las Vegas has a few more things to offer.

We've got reservations for it.

It was not easy as that restaurant must be really popular. "Regular" meal times were already booked (a little more than a month before we get there) so we had to take a late lunch time, 2:20 PM on a Thursday.

But I have absolutely NOTHING against eating steak in the mid-afternoon!

Guilty.
My wife and I went because someone had a free hotel room lined up for us. We had a blast and was happy we didn't end up spending a fortune on a honey moon.

Been twice in the last three years, once for work with my wife and once for a family trip. Going one more time with the kids next year then I will be done with Disney. Too many other areas of the country we need to go see and I can only do one good vacation a year.

As for the food, I guess I'm spoiled by N.O. There just isn't much to get excited about. We ate at the second best place at the Grand Floridian last time. Luckily it was paid for partially by meal plan or I would not have been happy spending that much money on the place.

I know some of it is good, but I don't think many of the Disney places are great. And it is like eating at a casino restaurant with the price to value.

I really enjoyed Saana, especially for the price point.

If you want to spend more, I LOVED both Citrico's and California Grill.

If you want to spend bank, hit up Victoria and Albert's.

I see a lot of people recommended Ohana. We went for breakfast and it was TERRIBLE!

Guilty also. My wife is a Disney nut so there was no question on where we were going. We had a blast. A general rule in life is if someone tells me they don't like puppies and/or Disney I just walk away slowly. There's something wrong there.

I'm not trying to knock you at all, but Disney has some 4 and 5 star restaurants that should not even be mentioned in the same breath as casino garbage food. I'm very critical of Disney and there could certainly be more variety with their quick service food areas but the classier restaurants like Le Cellier are not even close to casino food.

And Russian I though of one more thing. If you have a chance pick up the 5lb turkey leg. Yeah it's kind of disgusting watching someone eat one but they are really good and for 8 bucks you have enough to share it with a few people.

I thought this board was more refined than the other boards so I'm not sure why statements like this are necessary.

No no no, I'm not saying it is garbage food. Most good casinos have some pretty good restaurants. I'm just saying that it is a very premium price to eat at these places.
Look at Besh Steakhouse at Harrahs in N.O. and the fancy steak house at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi. Both great, but probably cost 15-20% more than comparible restaurants not in a casino.
