Italian Barrel. Not a hole and not cheap, but somewhere new possibly. I want food like this.

I need a definition for "hole in the wall" first.

Come on. It isn't that difficult.

To me - doesn't seat very many people, isn't advertised, and you'd basically have to have directions to even find the place. Some place you might walk by 10 times before you even realized it was a quality restaurant.

Italian Barrel.
I sadly found this place quite boring and not really worth the prices they charge. It was disappointing.
I much prefer Maximos, right around the corner.

I can roll with that. In that case, I like the glassman's list a lot. What about Flaming Torch and Martinique? You can walk right past both of those and not even know it.

All of the above and Three Muses, Cake Palace, Aldolfo's.

I can classify Huevos as a whole in the wall but crescent pie...not so much. It's a brand new/renovated building is nicely done. I also disagree w/ some of Glassman's definitions of "hole in the wall" (not the food, but them being considered hole in the wall)
My sugegstions:
Cafe Nino
Huevos
Slim Goodies
Panola St. Cafe
