Wicked Weed had a Belgian Style IPA on tap at the brewery (Not Pernicious) that was incredible. Slightly hazy, Floral Aroma, but the flavor was orange citrus over a toast bread malt base.

At my company's CBC booth last year, we got Boom Island to make a Barrel Aged Belgian Double Pale collarboration with our Belgian Malster. It's all I drank for the whole conference.

Red Oak from NC makes a classic German Amber Lager that I think is the tits as well

So basically, I can't get any of my favorite beers in Lousiana.

Grimm Afterimage and Pipeworks Galaxy Unicorn stick out in my memory.

I've had the best times drinking bud light, miller light, and Dos Equis though!

Damn this isn't easy to do, I have recent favorites too after a Portland visit so I may list several depending on the category.

IPA: Bodhizafa
NEIPA: Juice, Jr. and 3-Way IPA
Imperial IPA: GITM
Stout: Any variety of Prairie Bomb!, The Abyss and Péché Mortel. Also had On Fleek recently and was surprised at how great it was.
BA Stout: Legion
Sour: Crooked Stave Petite Raspberry

For IPAs, LaCumbre Project Dank really does it for me. I get giddy like a kid on Christmas Eve when I know I'm heading to Albuquerque or Santa Fe. Also Treehouse Sap was phenomenal.

Barrel Aged Narwal and Barrel Aged Ten Fidy imperial stouts are probably my favorite winter beers I've had.

The Three of a Kind 3rd anniversary beer at Wicked Weed on draft was killer. It's too difficult to state any one beer is the best, but that one would be hard to beat.

Great raft bourbon barrel aged old mad joy-pappy edition

....that or a house stout I had at a pub in Ireland. I wish I could remember the pub, but I swear I heard angels sing when I took my first sip.

12 year old Old Rasputin. The aging process took it from a damn solid mass produced IS to heaven in a bottle. As far as uncellared beer goes, no clue. Would probably have to break it down to best for individual types of beer.

was a Casey Brewing Saison

This was back in the random Tuesday night bottleshare days at the old NOLA taproom. I believe that beer was courtesy of Half Hearted Brewing.

And I agree, that Saison is the best beer I've had in my life. Eat your heart out Mimosas.

Then there was the barrel aged Ice Cream Sunday Stout (think neopolitan) from a local Houston brewery that isn't open yet.

Great one right there! I can't wait, hope they have some ready to go once open

Russian River Pliny the Elder. As far as what's available in Louisiana, Grace and Grit and DDH Envie when it's available.

Heady Topper is easily the best IPA I've ever had.
