Best cheap fried chicken?

I think publix, bojangles, and Cracker Barrel are top 3
Popeyes is a step below.
Kfc and churches are way behind the others
I can't make it at home better than publix or bojangles so I always go pick it up when I want it

Chefs in donaldsonville and Browns in Brusly make great, cheap chicken. Popeyes is ok depending on the location, some much better than others, but it's hardly cheap.

just like seafood, the price of fried chicken has gotten out of hand
last time I went to popeyes and KFC I remember paying over $10 for a 3 piece with drink
