Just checking in here. Have we figured this out yet?

Start getting them cooked rare, it changes everything. I had one two nights ago at a local, to me, place. I ordered it rare and waiter asked if I was sure, I was sure. Kitchen cooked it excellently, charred outside and room temp inside. It was great. It's like eating a fatty ribeye barely cooked and all ground up where you don't really have to chew it...not sure that's a positive description...supposed to be.

I had the bacon & brie burger at Stroube's last week and it was far and away the best burger I've had in a good while. Good thing too, because my last 2 visits there I was less than impressed.

I just remembered the Ribeye burger at Restaurant IPO in downtown BR is fantastic. Don't know how I forgot until now but that thing is pretty damn good. Haven't been downtown in a while so it slipped my mind.

I think I like curbside for the praline bacon and interesting porkbelly preserves more so than the actual burger itself.
The regular cheeseburger is good but the addition of the different toppings is why I like them.
If I could have those toppings and put them on a thick style Flemmings burger I would say I found my favorite burger.

I like Rauls, but another good one is the Popingo's gas station on the corner of Airline and Old Perkins Rd. East. $3 buys a damn good burger

Fat Cow is not that good.
I find Raul's, Mugshots, Five Guys and Burger Smith all to be way better.
I had them make me a cheeseburger at Whole Foods recently that was delicious as well..
