Eliza has a Rabbit Ragu dish on their menu. I haven't tried it yet.

My BIL had it recently and enjoyed it a lot.

Huh? Is this supposed to resemble one of my posts?

No.

It was a hypothetical example of a stupid response to a question. Here is another

Op-My daughter wants Italian for her birthday. Should we go to Ninos or Gino's?
Jody-You should go to El Magey Mexican buffet and get some taco slop
Me-Wtf?

Italian vs Mexican

Rabbit vs Rabbit

For the record... El Magey is not bad either

Dude you always recommend Chris which sucks

That is because I work there. So if someone asks a question and Chris's has it...I let the poster know.

And by the way...the Prairieville location will be moving to The Maxwell's location on Highland Road across from Ruffino's in about a month.

We will also be serving lunch.

You work at the meat store?

Why did I think you did something sports related?

I started right after the lock down in March of 2020.

I used to drive HOT SHOT
...I was on ESPN E:60 in 2013...maybe that's why you thought that.

I also do Public Speaking...hopefully now that things are back to normal I can start speaking full time.

I get that the OP asked for restaurants and he said a store, but the man at least contributed to the rabbit topic. For those of us who were wondering about the rabbit, now we know where to buy it. And you claim it’s a top 3 worst post of all time?

You got issues, man.

Darla wins the thread.

I'm stealing that every time anyone asks for smothered anything.

Type of response. We have them all the time and its one of the worst types of responses on here. Guy asks for a Mexican place to go have some fajitas and margaritas with his date and some weirdo on here will tell them to go to la tiendita or la morenita, which are mexican grocery stores with a few benches to eat while people shop. Its a terrible response and does nothing to help the OP. According to you though now the random person reading the thread now knows about the 2 mexican grocery stores. Nice

I prefer La Mexicana...went there the past 2 Tuesday for Taco Tuesdays. Then I go have a drink or 2 at Twin Peaks.

I miss the Rabbit pot pie from Rue 127.
Used to be so good. Restaurant closed though.

Poches in Breaux Bridge used to have smothered rabbit on Tuesdays for lunch. I assume they still do, it is excellent.

This is the best answer. Will not disappoint.

T-Coon's in Lafayette has smothered rabbit every Monday as the lunch special. It's the only thing I will go to eat at T-Coon's and if you get there after 12:30 probably will be out of rabbit. Lots of people only go on Monday's for that one dish. Best rice and gravy
