I am not looking for anything fancy but does anyone have a quality place to eat in Gulf Shores / Orange Beach that would be good for a group of 10 guys?

I looked through the usual travel websites but all I could find was pictures of kids enjoying overcooked fried seafood.

Not only would I like for the food to be decent but also a fun atmosphere.

ETA: I forgot to mention that I have heard good things about Ships Harbor but not sure if it was a legit recommendation.

That's a given. I'm looking forward to checking out the LSU vs Syracuse game at FloraBama.

We are grilling one afternoon but I would like a solid spot for the other night.

Shipps harbor is good, but would be terrible for a bachelor party. Cobalt is probably your best bet.

A coworker mentioned Cobalt. What's the draw with this restaurant? Does it have particularly good food or it would be the right atmosphere for a bachelor party?

Pretty good food, awesome location right on the bay, its always packed and pretty lively, usually loaded with eye candy

Atmosphere is much better than the food. Like the majority of restaurants down there, it's decent food at a steep price. Biggest thing you'll hear/say is "I could cook this better at home." Still can be a fun time going out though. Just don't expect Peche.

Can I offer a suggestion?

The vibe you want, fun, lively, loud is at the Flora-Bama. You knew this.

Rather than look for a restaurant, why not just grill a bunch of steaks at the condo, drink some cocktails, and then go out? Honestly, that is your best play.

Eat out at lunch.
