Agreed. Every time I go to dinner down there I wish I had just cooked instead. Especially when it's a big group of dudes who mostly don't care what they're eating they're just ready to get something in their stomachs and hit FB.

There is a great (sure there are multiple) meat market on the road in (exit Loxley, before expressway, right before the Winn-Dixie(?)). Last time I went down there, swung by picked up 3-4 ribeyes, a couple strips, and about 3 filets, some corn on the cob and a few other things. Dinner for 10 came out to about $20 a person and we had plenty of booze to hold us over. Was awesome time.

My man. Great suggestion. We are definitely grilling the afternoon of the LSU game (hoping it is a night game).

I was looking for one night to go out. The other night we are eating in, as well. Looks like I should check out Cobalt.

we went there this past sunday at a bachelor party and it worked out well. However about half had already left cause they had work Monday.

Its good enough food with good environment. Bonus you do not all have to be on one check so you do not have to deal with that.

Hooters
It's a bachelor party right?

If my bachelor party had included Hooters, I'd have been pretty sad.

ETA: I'm going to second, third, or however many piggybacks it has been on the cooking at the condo for dinner suggestions.

Cobalt was OK when my wife and I were down there, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. When I was down there for a bachelor party last year, we cooked every day. Either in the condo or the grill down by the pool. That is the way to go IMO.

Shipps Harbor Grill is my favorite place there. On canal rd across bay from Caribe. Fantastic food and service.

Cobalt and Cosmos are great too.

Yea, surely there is something better to eat in San Jose. I do need to see some average at best girls in skimpy tops while eating average at best food. I'll take good food from somewhere else and strippers for the boobs.

Because I don't get overly excited about girls bringing me crappy food and fake flirting with me just to get a big tip? It's be one thing if they took their tops off, but since they don't...

Link to me loving chain restaurants, or me hitting women since you still have never done that.
