Has anyone been to Ba Chi Canteen on Maple? Headed there for dinner tonight, looking for reviews and recommendations.

It's Vietnamese so it has a lot of the basics, however they do some different things.

They have a huge menu of Bao that they call Bacos. I usually get 3 of those as my lunch or dinner.

The chicken wings are really good, and the gyoza nachos are good.

Our usual order was lemongrass wings, kimchi fries, and a bowl of rare beef pho. Damn, I miss those wings and fries. So good.

ETA: Service usually sucked. Takeout is the better option there.

Place is solid, but they don't have a great "dining experience". I had lunch there yesterday and ordered my usual lemongrass chick with rice. I ask for the spicy lemongrass sauce instead of their regular sauce. It's a really great dish.

FYI- pretty sure it's BYOB.

Place is hit or miss. The pork belly is surprisingly terrible given the places name. Most of the Viet stuff is average at best. I do like some of their other items like the panko fried chicken sandwich.
