we need to institute stop and frisk here. It worked for NYC. Any piece of shite with a cross tattoo between their eyes walking around in the quarter is packing or has drugs, guaranteed.

bull shite. The only neighborhood it would really work in would be the quarter, but that's arguably where it's most necessary. There are plenty of criminals loitering about, hanging out, dealing, etc in plain view. When it gets to a certain hour of night/early morning (when most of the bad shite happens) the police should be able to stop and frisk anyone acting suspiciously.

I agree that there's a bunch of people up to no good that frequent the Quarter but could you imagine the backlash from instituting that? It's already bad enough with people complaining about terry stops. A stop and frisk is gonna cause all kinds of tension and even more disdain for LEOs

At this point the citizenry is so outraged they will outweigh the Jarvis deberrys of the world who will cry foul. It's my opinion that nola hasn't suffered from that backlash against law enforcement here. The people seem to wish we had more of a LEO presence and rightfully so
