My place I get them in Houston is $1.75 for Mixed, $2.09 for Preferred Large and $2.59 for Graded Select. Last week mixed was $2.69 and Large was $3.19. Significant price drop. Thing is this place buys them directly from places in Louisiana and drives them here themselves, no middle man to transport them here.

Boyd's Seafood in Texas City. You have to join their text message blast and they email you about prices during the season.

No, I didn't...normally I find them to be higher on crawfish. They have a way bigger selection, though and I go there a lot.

Doing five sacks, twenty lbs of brisket, corn, taters, sausage, salad and a couple of other sides on Friday. Gonna be a good day....

Price is dropping. Paid $1.25 wholesale today.

Should be able to find ~$2.00/lb retail in metro areas this weekend.
