No, not that long. Maybe a few weeks and he may have something already made.
Like I said tell him Nathan sent you.

I like the stand in that bottom picture. Saw one being auctioned at a festival in Loreauville a month ago. It had a 5 gallon pot in it. Went for a grand...lol. In talking with one of the auction organizers he said they bought it at a place in New Iberia...Liberty's maybe? Sells for 350 bucks.

As long as you don't have to pay a metal worker or welder you will do well at those prices.

I was an ironworker/welder/pipefitter for 15 years, I can handle it. But you right, paying a good welder will bust your budget, most of the guys making those thing are a 1 or 2 man show.

I have one from R&R. Great setup, I have been happy with it.

The one on the bottom is probably one of the best made... made in Rayne by Hebert's Machine shop. I have one of the originals, literally like one of the first ones they sold in stores.
I think you can order them. They have a Facebook page. Also, they sale them at Gary Matte's in Rayne on the service road in Rayne (maybe some others) The SS rods are a nice touch b/c you can cook on a flat pot. I don't have those mine as they were a later addition, also don't have wheels on mine.
Oh and I'm not related!

Cow D, I forgot to mention he does make some with a taller stand. Makes it easier when serving directly from the pot.
BTW, the 5 gal. pot come with a cast iron lid and anything bigger is aluminum. The 30 gal. I have has a 60/40 split and hinged lid for easier serving without having to completely remove tha lid. It would be nice to have on any pot.

Shane Martinez in St Amant. His website is KrazyKajun.com. I bought my 45 gal pot in a setup like that from him (he doesn't sell them that big anymore). While I was there, he made a stand for another of my pots. It wasn't skirted or on wheels, but it was a custom size. He made it in about 15 minutes.
This pic shows the comparison between the 45 gal and my 20 gal.
