Looking to boil it but not sure what else to add. All the recipes online say just boil in water and eat with melted butter. I would ideally like to season it similar to crawfish/crabs but most likely don't have access to all the supplies(live in Boston).

TIA

Steam them. 2 or three inches of water in the pot. Throw in some garlic and lemon. Add a little seasoning if you wish...cajun/creole or Old Bay. Bring to a boil, add a barrier to keep the lobster out of the water(I invert a smaller metal lid), add the lobster and simmer till done...maybe 15 minutes.

I like the lobster better without seasonings. Steaming is better then boiling, and lobster with melted butter doesn't need seasonings IMO.

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll probably go with steaming it and maybe light seasoning.

They need salt. Just add a bunch of salt to the water, stir to dissolve then heat for steam. It imparts enough that way.

Add sea salt and seaweed to the water. Don't even think of adding spices or crab boil.

Scroll about half way down.
