At least 4 or 5 locations in Metairie and NOLA have closed.

Cheetos shortage?
Seriously though, the only one that closed that I have experience with (airline between clearly and causesway) was horribly run. That one closing didn't surprise me. Not sure about the others.

Yeah I quit going to any of them two years ago. Worst customer service of all the chains

I agree with the lousy service. I did a business transaction with a guy that owns 27 franchises in Miss and La. I told him I hoped he didn't own the one on Airline you mentioned, because of the poor management.
He laughed and said no, that owner lived in Florida and didn't want to be bothered with it.
The location near Lowe's is for lease, the one near Transcontinental on Vets was razed yesterday and I think the one on Tulane and Carrollton is closed.
The one on Clearview is still open and a new one opened in the Walmart under the Huey P. Wide bridge.

Stopped going to Burger Kings in general a little over a year ago.
Quality in their burgers have dropped significantly in my opinion.

Unsure how related, but there was a story other day that in New Orleans area BK franchisee is looking to hire 300: LINK

Member when BK had the flame broil conveyor in plain site, you could have it your way and it really did take two hands to handle a Whopper.
God, I miss those days.

BK and Arby's are equally the worst fast food.

One in French settlement is solid as well. I've come to the conclusion the level of service is inversely related to the number of names with a dash of apostrophe in them.

Count the Scrabble points in the name, under 10 might be ok, over 30 with a lot of q's and z's, just go someplace else.

Not in Texas. Those Latin Americans have the service on lock.

I dont know but the BK Eggnormus Burrito is pretty damn good as far as fast food breakfast burritos go.

Quality and service have drastically declined over the years.
Hell, I can member back in the day when they were the only spot you could have it your way.
Order no onions from McDonald's and a fracking red light would flash, sirens would scream and the chick at the counter would scream Grill! Grill! Grill!
Management is to blame. Poor hiring practices. Zero quality standards. Not giving a crap.
Burger King is a mess.

These were owned by a specific franchisee. They were in at well below market lease rates and can't afford to renew at market rates and profit.

What sort of person thinks it's a good idea to become a Burger King franchisee? I've never seen a busy Burger King in my life. They all seem like they are just barely getting by.

Wendy's and Taco Bell both marketed themselves as "cool"
McDs realized what they were and became the "affordable choice" for lower income demographics and now they are cleaning up their stores and image to become cleaner.
BK just seems sort of there and still stuck in the early 2000s and hasn't moved
