Melis Taqueria
Salsa Limon
Taqueria Tepito
Tacos Ernesto
Daybreak
Tacos Cantu
Juanito's

Off the top of my head, these places all make their own tortillas and don't speak much English.

Bodacious BBQ off Division is solid and they'll have a big screen showing games all day. BYOB.

Mariano's tex-mex, inventor of the frozen margarita machine. The original one is now in the Smithsonian.

Please don't get here. Chain barbecue, I'm sure better than anything in BR, but still not good compared to what you can get.

Honestly, this isn't a bad idea if you've never been to Fort Worth. Very underrated city with lots of good food. Would check out Cooper's for barbecue or Joe T Garcia's for Mexican.

Joe T's is a great place to people watch but the food it just OK.
Locals like me say it is for tourists, there are way better taquerias and other mexican choices in Fort Worth.

India Grill is a pretty awesome Indian buffet. That's about all I've got.

I'll add them to my list to try. From the pictures online they look ok, but not great. But that's just pics.

You should also try Our Place in north Irving. Small buffet but great food.

I'm not much of a buffet person but I'm a sucker for a good Indian buffet.

I was more of a Curry N Kabab kinda guy when I lived in BR but India Grill is really, really damn good imo.

Yes we were at Joe T’s. The reason I said one of their locations is because I thought one of the locals in our group said there was another one. Maybe I misunderstood. We were there for a late lunch. I saw what looked like a couple of nicely equipped bars as we walked around inside their incredible courtyard dining areas. Another assumption, but I’m sure they sell beer and other beverage alcohol drinks, at least at night. What we ate for lunch was a fixed price platter, which seemed reasonable. We were doing the tourist thing but we liked it.
