New Orleans Pizza List

Found this and decided to share.

All the pizza that's fit to eat....

However, I am confused - Are there no Pizza Huts in NO?

How many of these have you tried and which is the best?

Who was unfairly left off the list?

That's Amore >>> Midway

I also like the pizza at Venezia.

Ancora is my favorite, though.

Thumbs up for Paladar 511. Had a breakfast pizza there that was killer.

I haven't been back to Midway in a few years. It just tastes like breadsticks.

I honestly don't think there is, I could be mistaken though.

Pizza Delicious is my favorite.

I haven't tried Mid-City Pizza, Wit's Inn, or Sugar Park.

Delicious is my fave, as it has extremely good non-pizza options (handmade pasta!) in addition to solid pizza.

But lately, I'm craving the square slices from Pizza Domenica....crazy-good thick grandma pizza made with freshly ground wheat flour from Graison Gill's flour mill at Bellegarde bakery. Simple toppings like marinara w/sliced garlic, burrata, or gorgonzola. A very good value at $5-6 for a thick hunk of delicious.

That's Amore is terrible too. Don't let the yelp reviews fool you

Sugar Park is good and rarely gets mentioned among the best pizza places in town. It's been a few years since I have made it over there though.

I go to two: That's Amore (Metairie) and Midway.

That's Amore has deep dish and pan. Both are excellent.

Haven't tried all that's on that list.

But my top 2 were left off - Mo's and That's Amore

Paladar 511 is very good all around but gets no publicity. when Wood Pizzeria is on the pizza is great but they tend to have too much variation depending on who is cooking that day.

I like Huey P's in Gretna. Thin and crispy.

THIS. There are plenty of pizza huts in new orleans. Off the top of my head there is one on Carrollton, and Claiborne near loyola/tulane, and Robert E Lee. A google search told me there are actually six in nola. Others are off tchoupitoulas, another in gentilly, and on in da east.
