Place I goto got top3

Who makes the best hamburger in New Orleans? We asked you to nominate your favorites on NOLA.com and on social media, and you responded enthusiastically, with 91 nominations of everything from no-frills burger joints to classy places with white cloth napkins.
Then it was time to vote, and more than 3,300 votes were cast for the title of Best Burger in New Orleans. Who won? Read one as we count down to the No. 1 hamburger.
And by the way, our top New Orleans burger will go head-to-head against the best burger on the North Shore in a taste-off judged by members of the NOLA.com/Times-Picayune food and dining team. Stay tuned to NOLA.com for more.

I guess it is a NOLA.com reader poll.

It makes sense that most NOLA.com readers are probably in their little box.

You only like the rocket spewing dry ice....admit it.

It isn't a bad burger. Like Company with thin patty and great social media.

LOL, no doubt. But correct me if I am wrong but these same peeps put Abita in the top3 normally with their state beer poll.

Overpriced relative to what??? They use a higher quality meat blend that they grind themselves. Beef isn't cheap.

Don't they put bacon in their burgers?

I think it is mostly just a chuck/brikset blend, but they give a lot of consideration to sourcing higher quality ingredients.

Dumb that Cowbell is so low, ridiculous that High Hat and LPG aren't even on the list.

Ate a damn good Lamb-burger at Delachaise this past weekend.

I'll admit I used to hit up Bud's Broiler after a late night in the city as much as anyone else....but to call that the best burger in NOLA is a damn joke.

What's happened with Port of Call being lower on these lists than they were before? Seems like 15-20 years ago, they were by far and away the gold standard of burgers.
