Fake Snake Pic?

I received this just now in a email thread. The text just says this
"Spotted while driving past the Morganza spillway"
It seems awfully skinny for a snake that long. I say fake...what say the board?

there are snakes in the everglades that get 18 feet long...and of course anacodas and pythons in the rainforests get quite large

Looks like a taipan. Australia has them. Bad mofo's. Been known to chase people down and bite them multiple times. Get to 12-14 ft long and highly venomous.
