On 118 carries he has eight go for 20+ yards. Big upside. I'm picking second in a 12 ppr league. Eyeing him with my third pick.

Like I said he wont be getting goalline carries. He's worth a 5th round pick at best. Low RB2

so who do you take over him?

vereen - no goal line
gio - no goal line
jennings- no goal line
spiller - no goal line

others in 3 rb committees
pierre
cj0k

at his draft position he offers the most bang for your buck as a rb2

Take the stats in context. Don't bring that weak shite breakdown using his numbers as a backup. Mendenhall has 100 more carries than Ellington. If you don't get the touches, you don't get the numbers. Now project Ellington's numbers with more touches. 20+ yards on 6% of his touches last year. Will catch tons of balls.

Vereen, Spiller and Gio. I'll even take Matthews over him as well.

I wasn't a big fan of Gio last season but he'll get the majority of the touches this season. Also, Hill hasn't earned goalline carries just yet.

Spiller, if he stays healthy and that's a big IF, that offense moves much better. I think they averaged something like 8 yards a play when he was in the game last season. They ran the ball over 500 times last season. I'd be wary of Bryce Brown.

Vereen, you know what you're getting from him each week with Brady. He's the safest of these picks but isn't really RB2 unless you're stacked at WR and have a high RB1

You can't fight it.

You must embrace the Ellington.

Embrace. It.

There is no stopping him. You can only hope to contain the Red Jesus.

ALL ABOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arians was quoted in saying they are going to build this offense around Andre Ellington

That tends to happen to 200lb RBs

After the preseason, his ADP will be Round 2. Way too high for me.

Hoping Ellington falls to me. Plan on going DT88 in round 1, Julio or BMarsh (hopefully) round 2, if Ellington is there possibly him in round 3. If he's gone I'm going either V-Jax or Keenan Allen. Then going Lamar Miller round 4, or Gerhart if he's there...My thinking, I'd rather go 3 sure fire WR's than 1 of these boom or bust RBs after the top 5 are gone.

He has no less upside than Ellington does, if not more.
