I'd like to accommodate your dead money, but my leagues stay full.

Bulked up in the offseason in anticipation for his run at PPR RB1 stud.

Looking at these gifs, he looks like Shady in a red jersey.......BUT he plays in a terrible offense and faces the Seahawks, 49ers and Rams twice each. The talent is there; the situation is less than ideal.

Doesn't play the 49ers twice, unless your league plays 17 weeks.

199 at the combine, id say that's accurate

Charles 200

Gio 202

Spiller 196

mccoy 198

CJ2K 195

Reggie Bush 203

smaller backs can thrive

Out of those the 9ers D would be the one I wouldn't mine going up twice against

Arian's promises of all these touches just gives me cj spiller flashbacks from last offseason

Yes. He's shifty as frick. But liked you've mentioned, he plays against some tough d's. I can see the McCoy comp. But it still is Phoenix. Who was the last top 10 back to come out of Arizona?

I'm worried Red Jesus does something crazy in preseason and his ADP goes up.

Getting him in the 3rd or early 4th is the steal of drafts this year.

cards offensive line should be much improved this season.

quote:

The Cardinals' offensive line wasn't their strong suit in 2013 (ok, they were bad) and may not be in 2014, but I think there is a distinct potential there for a huge jump in effectiveness. Therefore, because I figured I'd throw one really weird one in, they're in my Wild Cards group.

Arizona went out and successfully signed one of the top left tackles on the market in Jared Veldheer, and will place him outside their first-round pick from 2013 in LG Jonathan Cooper. Cooper's broken leg his rookie year may have people forgetting about him, but the left-side combination of Veldheer and Cooper has immense potential and could set the tone for the Cardinals this season.

On the right side of the line, projected starters right now are incumbents Paul Fanaika and Bradley Sowell, but it will be very interesting to see if 2012 fourth-rounder Earl Watford and the intriguing Bobbie Massie emerge as starters at right guard and right tackle, respectively, after camp. It's a projection, for sure (hence: Wild Cards), but Arizona could really surprise some people with a Veldheer - Cooper - Sendlein - Watford - Massie starting offensive line.

i need to stop with the ellington hype or im gonna be paying $60 for him in tdfl

Don't but into it. One huge game inflated his stats. Take that game out he's a flex at best.

Im with you. I think he will do well but he isn't the type of guy I would probably pick up. Though I recognize the talent and upside.

He gets to bang against SF, SEA, and STL 2x each, as well. He could either get fricked up, or he will catch a ton of dump offs when noodle arm Palmer can't complete a ball downfield

I think he'll return 2nd round value in a PPR. But yea, it's a physical division. I'd like to see him with a full workload before I'd pull the trigger on him early. There's just so many safer upside options in my opinion.

I need my early picks to hit... not hope they hit.

I agree, plus he won't be getting the goalline TDs either.

He averaged 10 points a game playing as the backup last year.

Scored 8+ in every game except 4 while only got double digit carries in 6 games

Take the stats in context. Don't bring that weak shite breakdown using his numbers as a backup. Mendenhall has 100 more carries than Ellington. If you don't get the touches, you don't get the numbers. Now project Ellington's numbers with more touches. 20+ yards on 6% of his touches last year. Will catch tons of balls.

The defenses didn't seem to stop Zac Stacy last year.

I mean, what is this fricking bullshite?

He plays fricking 12 other games outside the NFC West.

Either you're in on the talent, or you're out.
