We were getting nowhere in the summer, chasing rabbits, so I talked with several people offline like Redd did with his baseball league, and this is what we came up with and are rolling with for now. If we see changes that need to be made in the future, we can.

i respect that. but this one rule needs to be addressed right now. it will affect how we proceed. and can't really be reeled back without longterm repercussions.
i think we should have a discussion about this specific rule.
gang, the rule in question is whether or not a traded player should be able to retain his auction value post trade.
i think post-trade, the value should revert to that of book value.
